Out With The CO2 In With The Hydrogen!
Honda may be in the Press of late for the wrong reasons – having to introduce a pay cut at their Swindon plant in order to avoid job cuts – the Japanese giants continue to lead the way in terms of motoring innovation!
The Honda Insight hybrid vehicle has been a huge success since entering the market a month ago, so successful that it has become Japan’s best selling car! And now Honda have unveiled a sports car like no other: it runs on hydrogen!
Thanks to Honda’s California based design arm, the FC Sport incorporates Honda’s fuel cell technology that has been implemented successfully to Honda’s FCX Clarity models, and it also has audacious lines and sex appeal to boot!
With the majority of the car’s weight distributed in between the axels, combined with the low centre of gravity this Formula One inspired supercar matches performance with the latest in eco friendly engineering.
The central driving position resembles that of the McLaren F1 supercar, but that is the only hint of imitation with this car!
Not only will the FC Sport emit zero CO2 emissions, it will also be partly made of bio plastics!
