In July 2008, Mini were awarded the prestigious accolade of winner of What Car’s Green Awards for their achievements in making a premium small car with little impact on the environment.

However, this simply wasn’t enough and they have pushed themselves for more pats on the head – this time winning the best hot hatch award for the third time in a row at the annual What Car ceremony.

In the US alone, Mini consistently drives homes with awards such as the 2001 Car of the Year form Auto Express Magazine; 2002 – 2006 Most Appealing Compact Car; 2003 North American Car of the Year; 2004 Editors All Star Award for Best Small Car from Auto Magazine; 2006 Best Brand from the Kelley Best Resale Value Awards and the 2007 Most Wanted Coupe Under $30,000.
