It’s All About The Looks

I had to pop to the BMW garage this weekend whilst my car was in for a service and couldn’t help but indulge myself in a little window shopping. This is never a good idea unless you really are in the market for a new vehicle!

I have to say, out of the showroom offerings, there was one vehicle above all the others that stood out for me and that was the X6. An absolute beast of a car, this was, to my mind, more like a tank – in the nicest possible way.

Unfortunately, I only got to sit in it in the showroom but that was enough to make me fall in love. Firstly, the appearance of the BMW X6 grabbed my attention over all the other models on show. A sleek black paint job on a car that you simply know would command attention from everybody you pass by and a large, bulbous body that had the smoothest curves and not an sharp angle in sight, this BMW was truly a sight to behold.

Sitting inside was akin to sitting in my armchair at home. There was as much space around me and the position was just as comfortable with the aroma of leather making you feel you were sitting in absolute luxury. If this wasn’t comfort enough, the side of the drivers and front passengers seats were home to a plethora of buttons to adjust the seating position to suit the occupant exactly.
A beautiful display of polished wood grain was plentiful in the cabin and the rear passenger seats were certainly not forgotten when it came to spacious elegance. With only two seats in the back and a roomy centre console for drinks holders and storage with extra wide arm rest ensured passengers would just want to come along for the ride if nothing else. Cream leather upholstery gave the interior a sense of light and added to the feeling of space.

So excuse me for not bowling you over with the facts and figures of what the BMW X6 is capable of but sometimes you just need to go on instinct and sometimes it’s just nice to have something that is jaw-droppingly good looking. So BMW, here I come…..
