Four Into Four Goes Perfectly
Mini love nothing more than to shake things up a little and that is exactly why they like to bring out one design of Mini and then do regular little adjustments to the design, not necessarily to better it, but just to make it different and keep it fresh. It also means the chances of you ending up with the same Mini as your neighbour are very, very slim!
The current Mini model has just had its fourth variation released – The Mini Crossover Concept. With four doors, four wheel drive, four single seats and at four metres in length you can see a bit of a them going on here.
The Mini has never before been considered to be a family car yet the length of the new Mini is a first and the purpose is to attract a new target group to the little car. With four doors and full size proper seats you could easily fit in a couple with two children – the average family. However, Mini have been very careful not to make this feel like an ‘average’ car. The rear passenger door on the drivers’ side slides open as opposed to pulling open for variation and ease of loading.
However, this new version has aspects that will appeal to more than just the nuclear family. The window on the rear door is frameless and can swivel to one side to allow room for items such as ski’s or surfboards so that’s the sporty people and the family people taken care of.
There are a whole host of new ideas to personalise the interior of the Concept without losing that typical Mini feel and the new car is well worth a look for everyone.
