New Lexus Hybrid Campaign Makes Green Sexy

To promote their forthcoming hybrid model, the CT200h, Lexus have launched an exciting new campaign that they are calling the ‘darker side of green’. The suave online promotion puts a cool, James Bond-style spin on eco-friendly motoring with a swish and stylish web page and online interactive game.

The vehicle itself looks set to take Europe’s luxury hatchback market by storm in early 2011, with the luxury arm of Toyota expecting its launch to double their business in Europe. Lexus have promised not to compromise performance for economy with the new CT200h, which will feature a 1.8L Atkinson cycle four-cylinder gas engine. The four driving modes; EV, ECO, normal and sport, look set to ensure that there is a mode to suit any driving style and all conditions.

Lexus Opt For Further Updates To 2011 IS Models

Having given their IS model a facelift as recently as 2009, it has come as quite a surprise to find that Lexus are planning a couple of improvements for the 2011 model year. Your used Lexus IS could be rendered outdated sooner than you had expected with this latest news, based on a recent company brochure.

The improvements that Lexus are likely to make are not incredibly substantial, but nonetheless will make a difference to the exterior aesthetics of the vehicles in the IS model range. The major change that will set the 2011 IS range apart from your used Lexus IS is the inclusion of LED daytime running lights incorporated into the headlights. The lights are in fact receiving something of an overhaul, with redesigned fog lights, bumper insets and new tail lights all looking set to feature.

Lexus LFA Supercar Sells Out In Rapid Time

Having announced the production of 500 supercars back in October 2009, Lexus have recently announced that all of the LFA’s they are set to create have been pre-sold, marking a huge success for the Toyota-owned car firm.

Lexus have no previous history of manufacturing supercars, so the near immediate presale of 500 LFA’s is a big victory for the company, particularly given the fairly hefty launch price of around £330,000. It is not just Americans buyers that have swooped to reserve the supercars, with around a third of the models set to be sold to European drivers, with approximately ten thought to be headed to the roads of Britain.

Used Lexus Vehicles Top Customer Satisfaction Survey

For the tenth year in a row, used Lexus cars have been voted best in customer satisfaction in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates vehicle ownership satisfaction study.

The award is another coup for Lexus, who possess a superb reputation for customer satisfaction. They finished top in three out of the four categories – quality and reliability, appeal and service satisfaction.

Lexus’s mark was up 12 points on their total from the previous year, with an overall total of 846 out of 1,000. The survey is based on results provided by over 17,000 car owners, and acts as an excellent indicator of the continued performance of used Lexus cars.

Further Improvements Made to Lexus Hybrid GS450h

Lexus have announced a series of changes to their popular GS450h model, with enhanced safety features distinguishing it from the used Lexus models currently on the market.

Cosmetically, the car is more or less the same as what has gone before, with a revised grille and tail lights the only real noticeable differences, alongside a new alloy wheel design. No changes have been announced to the 3.5 litre petrol engine, although the luxury model’s in-car entertainment has received a minor overhaul.

A Buyers’ Guide to the Used Lexus Market

One of the great benefits of purchasing a used Lexus is that you can find a really good deal and often the car you end up purchasing could be rather new. Successful used car buyers are usually as happy with their used Lexus as they are with a new one.

We recommend that the best way to purchase a used car is through a dealership-this way you can have complete peace of mind that the Lexus you are interested in will be in good working order and have added extras that you wouldn’t find purchasing privately.

New Lexus Targets Premium Hatchback Market

A new Lexus is on the way and its got the Golf firmly in its sight. Preparing for a grand launch at the Geneva motorshow the new LF-Ch premium compact hatchback is set to be on sale towards the end of 2010.

Details, at the moment, are sketchy, but early indications suggest it’s likely to be much along the same lines as the concept hybrid which went on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year.

Lexus Announces the HS 250h

The Green Machine trend is continuing with Japanese manufacturers Lexus entering the fray with their new hybrid, the HS 250h in the New Year. Sporting a compact frame and a resolutely hybrid design – there’s no petrol-only option – the HS 250h looks to bring hybrid emissions and fuel economy to a luxury brand, but at an affordable price.

Offering a design and build quality which will remind owners of the higher end of the Lexus brand, but at a price more fitting an entry level car, the HS 250h is a high quality machine, blending economy on the price and economy on the fuel usage with the quality and prestige that drivers have come to expect from the Lexus brand.

Lexus Dealerships Bracing For The GX460’s Impact

f0e33bbc404638720150b45aca9376dcLexus Dealerships around the world will be holding their breath this week as the new GX460 SUV is about to be unveiled at the China motor show. The car/van has been produced to replace the GX470 and from browsing the spy shots of the car online one thing is very apparent and that is that this car hasn’t been built with style in mind.

It is quite possibly one of the ugliest looking SUV’s I’ve seen and that is bearing in mind that there are a number of appalling SUV’s out there at present. The Lexus GX460 seems very square and boxy and appears to lack any sense of sporty qualifications, with the Porsche Cayenne leaving it for dust in the looks stakes.

Why You Should Buy A Used Lexus

Used Lexus
Ok, a Lexus may not appear to be the most exciting cars on the market, although that could all change when the LF-Ch hits the market, but what Lexus has always held above the rest is reliability. Taking this into consideration means that a used Lexus will prove to be a prudent move for second hand buyers.

Owners of approved used Lexus vehicles rarely find problems, as is evident in customer satisfaction surveys, with Lexus at the head of the list for cars between 3-5 years old.

Lexus Dealers Set For A Busy Few Years

LexusLF-Ch
Lexus dealers are set to be in for a busy couple of years as they look to set to push full steam ahead with production of their new premium compact car, the Lexus LF-Ch.

Since unveiling the latest model at the Frankfurt Motor Show to critical acclaim, Lexus dealerships have been inundated with requests for further information on the LF-Ch which won’t be available on the road until 2011.

With a petrol hybrid engine that will emit less than 100/km CO2 and front wheel drive, the LF-Ch represents a new challenge for Lexus who aim to target market share from the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series.

LexusDash
The motor industry has been struggling against a tide of financial depression over the course of the last year as we all know: Cars continue to back up on fore-courts with customers refusing to part with their hard earned cash, opting instead to save their money until the recession has passed. Even the new scrappage scheme employed by several manufacturers hasn’t worked as well as they had initially hoped.

However, there is some good news coming out of America that sales on certain brands of luxury cars has started to move in a positive direction again. Sales of Lexus cars have been boosted with a 12% gain in the last month.

This new Lexus model will also be available in full hybrid making it the first fully electric car of its type.

Lexus Unveil Groundbreaking Sportsback

2010 car

The brand new Lexus HS 250h is selling like hot-cakes after it was unveiled in Japan and the US in July. Toyota was targeting 500 sales per month, but in their first month the car has already achieved a whopping 9,000 orders!
