BMW World Final Won By Canadian Alexander Rossi

What better sideline for one of the world’s top car manufacturers than motor sports?

And what better way for a seventeen year old boy to feel like he’s the nuts than to win a race in such an event?
So here we have Alexander Rossi from California winning the championship in the BMW World Final at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico.

Twenty one drivers were in Mexico to represent the Formula BMW Series in the Americas, Asia and Europe and Rossi’s shining performance topped the lot.

Within six laps, Rossi found himself in the top three on the grid and by lap thirteen he was in first place and managed to secure himself a win with only 0.655 seconds in it. Of course, as exciting an achievement as this is, it’s not entirely new for Rossi – he has already won ten races in the Formula BMW Americas this season.
Part of Rossi’s prize is to test drive a BMW-Sauber Formula One car.

Is that going to make his mates sick, or what! With Formula One as his goal, Rossi has always wanted to try out a Formula One car and now his dreams have come true at the tender age of seventeen.
